In Israel Would It Be Acceptable To Call My Dog Mariana?

I'm thinking about moving back to Israel, but my knowledge of Israel culture and customs had faded in the time I've been away.

I have a dog. It's a boy dog, but it likes to think its girl dog (lets call it a ***** to make things easier). The ***** is a Malaysian-Brazil mongrel, it's a bit ugly (especially on the inside), it has gone by many names before which does get confusing (love, xtasy, ewan, iwan, rivka etc), the ***** is a bit stupid and it likes to lick its own butt.

But, in Israel, would it be acceptable to call my dog Mariana?

Yes that is an fantastic name for a dog in my opinion. I say go for it!
