This Will Be A Very Strange Question, And Trivial To Boot?

So I was trying to settle a medical bill I ran up in Australia. I tried to explain that to the girl I assumed was with the office when I called.
Anyways she was very nice but told me that it wasn't her I wanted and was on the toilet at the moment.
Was she joking with me or something? How would you feel if an American did that to you?

Medical receptions don't answer their calls from the toilet. I agree with the others - probably the wrong number.
