Cairo, Egypt To Phoenix Metropolitan Area: Weather Difference?

I'm originally from Cairo, Egypt and I may live in Phoenix metropolitan area (like Scottsdale). I was asking about the weather difference. OK, to tell you about the weather in Cairo, Egypt throughout the year:

It NEVER snows. In winter (December till February), the weather is cold, and at night it could reach as low as 40-45 degrees Fahrenheit. Highs could be in the high 60's.

During Spring (March till May): The weather starts getting warmer and warmer (In mid-April, the temperature could surge to 110 degrees, but later on decreases; though reaching 100 degrees is very common in May).

During Summer (June-September): The weather becomes very hot, and the daily highs rarely go under 100; though they usually reach 110.

In Autumn (October and November): The weather is still hot; usually surpassing 90 degrees, but could reach the low 70's in late November.

Humidity in Cairo is average; ranging from 30 to 55%.

So how does the weather in the Phoenix Metropolitan area differ from that of Cairo, Egypt? Is it hotter, cooler, or what? Please explain...

It can go as high as 120 degrees F in Phoenix in the summer and often over 110 degrees F

If it snows here it is a rarity and melts just as fast as it came.
