I'M planning to take a cruise from Vancouver, Canada to Alaska. My son has a recently renewed(less than 3 months) passport and I don't know if I'll have problems entering to Vancouver, Canada by air. I'll be staying in Vancouver only one night. Thanks in advance for any help.

A passport can be used from its first day of issue. Some countries require foreigners to enter with a passport that must be at least valid for another three or six months; however this does not apply to Canada.
